when you use the GridSocial mobile application and related services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information to provide and operate GridSocial:

and authentication-related information to identify and authenticate you.

profile information, photos, and in-app messages.

Usage and Diagnostics Data: Limited usage data such as app interactions,
crash reports, and performance metrics used to maintain stability and improve functionality.

- Display content to other users as part of the app’s core functionality

GridSocial does not use your data for advertising, marketing, or tracking across
other apps or websites.
3. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party service providers to operate GridSocial:

Supabase: Used for authentication, database hosting, and media storage.
Data is processed solely to support GridSocial’s core functionality and is not shared for
advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Data Security & Media Storage
Important Information About Data Security

Security: We use industry-standard security practices, including encryption
in transit (HTTPS) and encryption at rest where supported by our infrastructure.

No End-to-End Encryption: GridSocial does not currently provide end-to-end
encrypted (E2EE) messaging. Messages and content may be accessible to authorized administrators
for moderation, support, or legal compliance purposes.

Media Storage: Media uploaded to GridSocial is stored using cloud-based storage
services. In some cases, media files may be accessible via direct URLs. Users should avoid
uploading sensitive personal documents or private information.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
You control your data.

In-App Deletion: You may delete your account at any time through the app
settings. This permanently removes your account and associated data from our active systems.

Manual Requests: You may also request account or data deletion by contacting
support@gridsocial.org.
6. Age Restriction
GridSocial is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from individuals under 18. Accounts found to belong to users under
18 will be removed along with associated data.
